Flexible devices, which can accommodate strain and maintain high performance under deformation, enrich lifestyle by providing enchanced smart functions, and also provide health information by monitoring body conditions. However, the crucial aspects toward the advancement of this direction include the development of novel mechanically durable materials, flexible and stretchable substrates, deformable electrodes and circuits, system integration, and so on. In this talk, I will present our latest progress in rational design of structural materials, individual devices development, and integration for fabricating the stretchable functional devices, which include sensors, memory devices and mechanoplasmonic devices. |
